Victoria and Ranulf, otherwise known as Vicky & Randi, were married at Islington Town Hall on a sunny, crisp, cold day in January and partied the night away at The Peasant Pub in Clerkenwell. Some partied more than others as Vicky shone in a sequin dress at six months pregnant and despite being overwhelmed at times, their son Jack was also the centre of attention! This was my first London town hall wedding and it didn’t disappoint. Nor did the reception venue which was everything you would expect from your local London pub, the open fire, the mulled wine and the food was exceptional, hence including a photo or two! It was a really special wedding for me as Vicky and I went to university together and I love her dearly. She wore my engagement ring as her something blue and I cried behind my camera when her two brothers spoke on her dad’s behalf. I hope people believe that each and every wedding I do is special to me, yet there is something really wonderful about handing over a set of images to a close friend and having them tell you what they mean to them, that they relived the day through them…just gives me a little extra bit of proud. All of my mates know they can ask but also that I won’t force my work on them so it’s even sweeter to know that Vicky wanted me to do this. Congrats to them both, so very pleased I was their photographer that day. Here are just a few (hundred) of their photos that sum up what a great time was had.
