So it struck me not so long ago that same sex marriages are massively under represented within mainstream wedding magazines…and well, why the heck should they be?! So I took it upon myself to organise a styled shoot to show off the equality of marriage, some (quite frankly) bloody stunning dresses, and a beautiful new outdoor venue not far from where I live. We lucked out with the weather, the cakes shone in the sunshine, the models exuded love and the photos exceeded my expectations. They were so good in fact that one of them made it on to the front cover of a magazine! Brrrrrrapp ppaaaaarrrp paaaap! That was the sound of me blowing my own trumpet…sorry.
In all seriousness I couldn’t be more pleased that ‘Your East Midlands Wedding Magazine‘ used my image to show off their first same sex cover. All you need is love folks. Here are some of my favourites from the day. Credit list below…be sure to look now because I had a very wonderful team around me who I would like to thank again and again for helping make it all happen.
