I’ve waited a long time for a Ray LaMontagne first dance, and it finally happened. RACHAEL & ROB YOU ARE MY PEOPLE! From the minute I walked in to bridal prep the stress of having to change a tyre in record time before a wedding completely disappeared and from that moment on it was all about these two and the AMAZING day they had planned. They had a secret barn outdoor wedding and everyone played their part, including the rain which buggered off just in time for the outdoor ceremony Rachael really wanted and left a much more comfortable temperature of an afternoon. There was always a game, a laugh, some food, a flower, a kid, a family member or some other wonderful happening that meant I was on the go from morning till night (I only cried three times) and I still didn’t want to leave when it came time. It helped that they sent me away with a bottle of red and a doughnut but I still dragged my heels on the way back to the car…LETS DO IT ALL AGAIN NEXT WEEK PLEASE!!
The secret barn near Brighton is an unbelievable venue run by Petal & Feast providing the very best in outdoor, rustic ceremonies and celebrations. They provide an amazing service on food and flowers and the place looked stunning. As did the couple, I’m sure you will agree! I photographed Rachael and Rob a few years ago on a family holiday and they told me then and there that when they got married I would be there photographer…I’m really blummin’ happy that they stuck to their word, this was an epic wedding.
