It’s a funny old time out there in the world right now and I miss work, I miss taking photos and I miss being amongst crowds of people celebrating every weekend….I really do miss my job. However, I can’t deny that having dedicated, uninterrupted time with Elsie is a blessing and I am determined to make the very best of it, it may never happen again.
With that in mind we have made a promise to create a music video for every week that we are in lockdown, in a different genre and in different room of our house. I’m already in awe of the ideas and dedication that Elsie has thrown at this project and I’m excited that she will have these to look back on. And also critique me on…because believe me, she does.
We started in the bathroom and hit the 80s pretty hard with the Starship classic ‘Nothings Gonna Stop Us Now’
Moving swiftly on to a tribute to Elsie’s favourite band, The Red Hot Chili Peppers….
And so to this week when we decided to tackle one of the greats, we hope you can forgive us Celine! I’ve seen a few parodies of this song since lockdown started but we don’t mind, it was an obvious choice and Elsie threw herself in to it like never before! I was the one who couldn’t keep a straight face and when I laughed she looked me dead in the eye and said “you’re going to have to edit that out.” The fact that I haven’t may lose me some brownie points but it is a risk I am willing to take!
