Following a birthday picnic engagement, Abby and Steve celebrated with their nearest and dearest with an intimate ceremony at one of my most loved local venues, Oakham Castle.
The couple are no strangers to the castle with Steve being the owner of legendary local cafe (and my daughters favourite place for cake!) Castle Cottage. If you haven’t been, Castle Cottage is the most delightful vintage style tearoom set within the walls of Oakham Castle.
After the ceremony, Abby and Steve continued to embrace all things local, enjoying their wedding breakfast at award winning neighbouring restaurant Hitchens Barn.
I only spent a handful of short but very sweet hours with the couple on their big day but I loved every minute of it!! Here’s a few of my favourite moments:
