Rutland has a new leading wedding venue to shout about and it’s right on the water!! The golf club at Manton is showing others how it’s done with great food, a great atmosphere and stunning views to rival any other. As a Rutland Water Golf Club Wedding Photographer I can honestly say it’s one of my favourite places to work. It’s always nice to be close to home but it’s also nice to be in a place that feels like home. And one that serves such a bad ass club sandwich!
It’s also on the expand and now has rooms for people to stay in and a little cottage for the bride and groom or those all important family members. I shot one of my first official weddings at this venue years ago and it’s certainly changed since then. The marquee was only temporary, the dance floor was in the bar and there was no accommodation. Now it’s all set up for your every need and has a whole hoard of staff to help you with that too. They’re uber friendly and did I mention the club sandwich? A photographer needs her food you know.
Regardless of the weather the venue is open to photographic opportunities as you can see from the comparing summer and winter weddings below. You can even partake in a little putting competition on the driving range should the mood take you as the venue is set up for indoor and outdoor fun. It’s also open in the week for drinks so if you wanted to meet here to talk about your wedding I would be more than up for that, just get in touch!
